Our team recently hosted a chef discovery day for our clients in partnership with Unilever, where chefs can learn how to optimize and make their menu more efficient. One key area which we find beneficial is the selection of low labour products.
Examples of low labour products range from Carte d’Or Crème Brulé base mix that can be multi-use by adding one ingredient, where a Choc Caramel Tart can be created by simply adding Chocolate drops into the warm mix or creating a Lemon Meringue Mousse by simply adding Lemon Juice. Another example is Vegetarian Butcher No-Chicken Chunks, a pre-cooked product that can be added to a sauce to create dishes such as Curries and Casseroles with minimal preparation.
