We hear from EDWIN DEN RIDDER, one of our account managers in the Netherlands, as he recounts how he works with his clients on bringing the most value to their operations,
“Depending on the businesses needs we will work with them to acheive their goals. For one client, they were finding it hard to manage costs and after our analysis one of the points we could help with was to reduce the amount of suppliers they were ordering from, there were too many and it was taking up a lot of time, as well as making it more difficult to negotiate and manage product costs. For this client, we took them to visit shops like Hanos we have in the Netherlands, which has everything they need under one roof. It is specialist enough that it is very likely to have a like for like of what is currenty bought, and it brings value to the client as they can streamline their procurement and can buy in one place at a much lower cost through Entegra."

BART OUDENHOVEN, who also works as a Key Account Manager in our Netherlands based team recounted how he introduces and familiarises a new supplier to his client to be sure they are fully on board and can validate the added value of Entegra,
“A new client of ours since the beginning of this year with 4 hotels. We did a like for like analysis on meat for the client and introduced a new supplier which provided them with the same meat product at a lower cost. As this supplier was not well known at this point by hotels, and was also new to Entegra too, we needed to bridge this gap of the unknown. We found great savings of around 12% using this supplier for hotels, but as the hotels and chefs did not know this supplier, they were unsure about the quality and service they would receive. So, to tackle these doubts, two steps were taken.
First, we invited the hotel, its chefs and GMs to an introduction and tour at the proposed butchery. Second, a blind tasting was organized with different beef products for them to check the taste and quality first hand.
After the tasting the hotels were pleased with the quality of the supplier, and started working with them in April 2022, until now they have said the quality exceeds their previous supplier and are very happy with the outcome."
